Shannon is an advocate for safety and support with every individual and couple that walks through her door. She will create a compassionate space for you to unpack your story and address the parts of self that keep you from feeling fully connected, understood, and secure within yourself and your relationships. With every step you take in your healing journey, she will partner alongside offering effective tools, humor and metaphors, and endless empathy for you to reach the goals you wish to achieve.

About Me

Shannon was born and raised in Georgia, where she now greatly enjoys exploring the various cultures in and around Atlanta. Before beginning her counseling career, she worked in community development in Atlanta and East Africa, leading trainings on sustainability, empowerment, and transformative unity. She also drove buses while studying at the University of Georgia. Today, you can find her sipping on an oat milk dirty Chai at the Chattahoochee Coffee Company, getting too competitive at game nights, and running around with her therapy dog in training, Dunkin.

Licensed Professional Counselor by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists (License #LPC015181).

Education

MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University; BS in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Georgia
